SCORE Representatives

SCORE is the Service Corps of Retired Executives. SCORE is a nonprofit asssociation providing free business couneling. SCORE is brains, ideas, skill and experience. SCORE is 13,000 retired and active executives in 400 chapters. SCORE is volunteers ready to share their skills. SCORE is counseling on small business problems. SCORE has a background of more than 25 years of successful counseling. SCORE's counseling services are free.

The Sumter-area labor force is the best in South Carolina according to the 1998 Expansion Management Magazine ratings issue.   With a moderate unemployment rate, a popular "tech-prep" program in area high schools and a model industrial technology program at Central Carolina Technical College, this ranking is expected to continue. Sumter also enjoys the skilled labor of thousands of former members of the U.S. Air Force who choose to retire in this area.
